Nikkei at 7-week high before Greek vote; volume seen low

TOKYO: The Nikkei stock average hit a seven-week high on Wednesday, coming close to the top of its well-trodden post-quake range, after Wall Street rallied on easing worries over Greece, although uncertainty about a long-term solution may keep volume low.
The benchmark Nikkei average opened up 1.2 percent at 9,767.91, while the broader Topix gained 1.1 percent to 839.82. – Reuters
