PETALING JAYA: Ahmad Johari Abdul Razak, brother of prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, has been appointed to Practice Note 17 oil and gas outfit Sumatec Resources Bhd.
The 59-year-old Ahmad Johari joined Sumatec yesterday as an independent non-executive director, and has 1.92% direct interest in the issued and paid-up share capital of the company as at June 30.
He also has directorship on the board of several listed public companies namely Ancom Bhd, Hong Leong Industries Bhd, Daiman Development Bhd and Malaysian Resources Corp Bhd.
He also sits on the board of Deutsche Bank (Malaysia) Bhd and Daiman Golf Bhd.
