KNM unit wins US$1.33b Sinopec deal

 KNM Group Bhd’s unit, KNM Process Systems Sdn Bhd (KNMPS) has been chosen as the sub-contractor for the US$1.33 billion (RM4.27 billion) contract that Sinopec Engineering received from PRPC Refinery and Cracker Sdn Bhd. 
In a filing to Bursa Malaysia yesterday, KNM said KNMPS has been cooperating with Sinopec Engineering on the bidding process. The deal is related to the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning works for one package of an oil refining and petrochemical integrated engineering project at Pengerang, Johor.
