KUALA LUMPUR:
Malaysia Pacific Corporation Bhd (MPCORP) faces trading suspension unless it is able to submit its outstanding annual audited accounts for the financial period ended June 30 2014 (AAA 2014) to Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd by 5pm today. MPC earlier failed to submit its accounts for public release within the stipulated date of October 31.
If MPC does not submit the AAA 2014 today, its share trading will be suspended with effect from 9am on Monday, said Bursa. If MPC fails to issue its financial statements within six months from the expiry of the timeframes, in addition to any enforcement action that Bursa Securities may take, de-listing procedures would be taken against the company, it added.
